“part of our vocation is to help the world love the world that God loved.”

- Presiding Bishop Michael Curry

Culinary

Gardens

With raised and at-grade beds, the culinary gardens provide planting space for people of all ages and mobility. The outdoor classroom will provide a safe and comfortable environment for students to learn about the many facets of gardening.

Prairie

Garden

The front garden facing Polk Street is a native grasses area. These grasses and forbs provide the vegetation necessary for the entire life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly. These gardens demonstrate the importance of both native grasses for carbon sequestration and the important role of pollinators in our food supply.

Meditation

Gardens

A quiet space filled with only the sound of the gentle flow of the fountain and the songs of birds, our Spiritual Life Garden invites visitors to sit in a calm and peaceful setting. Come and set the worries of the world aside and listen for the voice of something greater.
