Cultivating Earth Stewards

United Thank Offering provided a generous grant allowing us to hire the necessary staff and purchase the supplies for a Monarch Raising project. The students of local Elementary School, Meadows, raised almost 800 caterpillars and tagged and released over 300 butterflies!

Students learned about the importance of biodiversity, how to be a citizen scientist, and how we are all deeply connected to even the tiny creatures of the world.
